Road safety - what we do
Our statutory responsibility is to help to reduce the number and severity of accidents for all road users in Bedfordshire by preparing and carrying out various measures designed to promote road safety.
The road safety team constantly provides road safety education and training for 65,000 children in 203 schools throughout the county and either directly provides or enables the following services:

Road Safety also provide advice for all road users, what ever their mode of travel, and regardless of age. From infant travel through to cycle and pre-driver training our aim is to assist them to mature into responsible road users.
