South Bedfordshire Dial-A-Ride

The aim of South Bedfordshire Dial-A-Ride is to provide a door to door service for those people who are unable to use ordinary public transport, because of a temporary or permanent disability. Vehicles used on the service are constructed for ease of access, even if you use a wheelchair. Drivers can escort you to your door but cannot normally transfer you from your wheelchair.

How to make a booking

Telephone: (01525) 222331 between 0900-1200 Monday-Friday

Don't forget to book your journey home at the same time. You should normally give 5 days notice when making a booking, although it is sometimes possible to make a booking at short notice - why not ring to see if you can be accommodated?
While every effort will be made to meet your request for a booking at the time required, bookings are made on a first come, first served basis and you may be asked to adjust the times slightly to fit in with the vehicle schedule.

Can I bring a companion?

Yes, you may bring a companion/helper with you on the bus, and they will be charged at the same rate as registered users. If you are unable to travel without a companion/ helper you can apply for a Companion pass. Please tick the appropriate box on the registration form and this will allow the companion to travel at the concessionary fare of 60p.
