Key Worker Living Scheme

The Government has appointed Keyhomes East to act as the 'one-stop shop' for affordable housing for key workers - vital frontline public sector staff - in Bedfordshire as well as Cambridgeshire and parts of Suffolk.

Housing Initiatives are helping to keep the skills we need in our key public services. If you are a key worker you could get help to buy a home. Key workers can also choose from a wide variety of affordable homes for rent.

Opportunities are also available to rent homes at affordable prices. This help is available in Luton and the East of England, where the high cost of housing is affecting employers' ability to recruit and keep staff. The Government wants to give you the help you need to buy or rent a home to keep you in the job you have trained for.
