Site Agent - Glenwood School

Salary: Level 3B+2 Points 18 - 21 £15,969 - £17,799 pa pro rata (Pay Award Pending)

Hours: 35 hours per week

Description

We are looking for a new site agent to join us as soon as possible. You will need to lead a team of 5 cleaners to keep our special school very clean and looking good. You should have an interest in the pupils and be a part of this school community where everyone’s contribution is valued.

The post carries the following duties:

• Security of the premises
• A daily cleaning commitment
• Leadership of the premises team
• An understanding of Health and Safety Issues including COSSH
• Basic maintenance and decoration of the building
• Budget management
• Driving and checking of school minibuses
• Responsibility for the security of the site and heating and lighting.

You may not have experience of all of these above but must be willing to train. The successful candidate will be expected to work a flexible 35 hour week, which will occasionally include evening and weekend work.

Appointments will be subject to enhanced CRB clearance, a successful medical and satisfactory references.
