The Governors of our happy and highly successful school wish to appoint an Assistant Headteacher who is an outstanding teacher and has proven leadership qualities and skills. This Senior Leadership Team post requires energy, vision and enthusiasm and the successful candidate will make a significant contribution both in building on the excellent practice and in taking the school forward to the next stage of its development.

The successful candidate will:

• Have a clear understanding of the mission of a Catholic school and be able to support actively and promote the Catholic ethos and aims of the school.
• Contribute significantly to the process of school selfevaluation and school improvement.
• Be a creative, inspirational class teacher with a proven record of exceptional practice demonstrating high expectations and a commitment to raising standards.
• Take a lead in the assessment process including target setting, performance tracking and data analysis.
• Provide curricular leadership in Literacy and Assessment and as a model of good practice, support curriculum coordinators in their professional roles.
• Be highly motivated to inspire and lead by example to support pupils and staff.
