Family Support Worker - Action for Children

Salary: £16,941 - £29,628 (depending on qualifications)

Description

At Parkside Project in Houghton Regis we have a reputation for providing effective family support services for Bedfordshire County Council. Our skilled, enthusiastic and supportive team helps families with children aged 0-16 years develop strengths and effect change.

Working three days a week directly with children and their families in a planned way to achieve change, you’ll bring strong assessment and report writing skills, an understanding of child development and risk factors, and the ability to plan and implement interventions. A Social Work qualification, NVQ in Child Care, NNEB or equivalent are desirable, however we are looking for someone with the skills and experience to achieve positive outcomes, whether or not you have a qualification.

A full driving licence and car are essential.
