Planning applications
County Council Planning Applications
The County Council is only responsible for Minerals and Waste Applications and those Planning Applications (Regulation 3) made for its own development eg schools and libraries. The application forms for these are available on this page.
It is also responsible for the associated monitoring & enforcement of these applications - where work is carried out without permission or not according to the planning permission given.
The County Council has published 'A Guide to how we deal with Planning Applications', an 'Enforcement Code of Practice' and several other free leaflets on the planning process. Copies are available from the Development Planning and Control Section at County Hall. Alternatively they can be viewed and/or downloaded from our Free Advice Leaflets page on this website.
