Population Estimates and Forecasts| (PDF document, opens in new window) is published annually to provide the County Council with up-to-date population estimates. The report includes 2006 estimates at County, District, Town and Parish  levels, together with forecasts - up to 2011 for towns and parishes and up to 2021 for the county and districts.

These projections take into account the planned housing provision of the Milton Keynes & South Midlands sub regional strategy.
