Bedfordshire facts and figures

Bedfordshire* has a culturally and socially diverse population living mainly in the urban areas of Bedford, Kempston, Dunstable, Leighton Linslade, Houghton Regis, Ampthill, Flitwick, Sandy and Biggleswade; although about 40% of people in the county live in one of its 114 parishes.

* Bedfordshire refers to the area administered by Bedfordshire County Council and does not include Luton.
