Managing performance

Managing performance has two main goals:

  • Demonstrating that we provide excellent value to the people who use and pay for Council services - our customers
  • Engaging in continuous improvement of our services

To do this effectively, customers need to be empowered to drive our improvement.  The Government believes this can be achieved through the provision of high quality performance information to support local democracy.
