Registering as a supplier

Please note: Unitary transition - contracting with Bedfordshire County Council

Bedfordshire County Council will cease to operate on 1st April 2009 and their functions, assets and liabilities transferred to two new unitary councils, Bedford Borough Council and Central Bedfordshire Council.

From 16th April 2008 until 1st April 2009 the County Council is unable to enter into certain contracts without prior approval by the body responsible for the setting up of the new arrangements. Contracts covered by these arrangements may include contracts for the supply of goods and services, and for the sale or purchase of land or property.

If you are considering entering into a contract, including relating to the sale or purchase of land or property from Bedfordshire County Council before the 31st March 2009, please be aware that this may be subject to such approval.

Register as a potential supplier

The Council encourages suppliers of goods, works and services to register their interest in doing business with the Council.

The Council’s ‘Vendor’ Portal| (new window) allows you to register your interest that you may wish to explore any future opportunities. The registration process takes no more than 5 minutes to complete on-line.

This will direct you to our on-line form. Please ignore the section ‘Regional Settings’.

Registration does not guarantee that your organisation will be offered any contract in the future or be invited to tender. Your information will be retained on our supplier database and may be used by us should you express an interest in a specific tender opportunity at a later date.
